  • Welcome to Year 10 2017

    Hi Girls!

I hope you have had a great summer holiday and have managed to spend some time relaxing, reading and in the great outdoors.

I'm sure that you are all extremely excited about starting Year 10 and getting back to school after the holidays.

As with last year, I am here to help with anything you need assistance with...form class, subjects, teachers, friends, family, social media or anything else at all! Mrs Heyward and Mrs Hartwell (the Guidance Counselor's) are also here to help you too. Please come and make an appointment if you need to see us, we all have appointment slips on our doors. We will get back to you as soon as we are able.

I am looking forward to seeing you achieve your very best in your academic, sporting and cultural lives this year!

    Mrs Leech

    • Orientation Day - character strengths and goal setting

As part of our orientation day on Friday 3 February, we are going to look at your character strengths and how they can help you set your goals for Year 10.

First of all we are going to look at this video clip (see below) to introduce character strengths and why knowing your own strengths is so useful.

We will then go to VIA and complete a survey (link below) for ourselves to identify our own character strengths. This is completely your own and doesn't need to be shared with anyone else.

The final link is if you have a question like "My top strength is 'zest', what does that mean?". You can follow this link and look up each strength one by one. You can get a definition of it, a video clip and some examples of it.

The last attachment is a copy of the chart you will be given.
