Term 1 Welcome...
Welcome to 2018. Yes, that's right you are senior students now!!
I hope you have had a restful and fun break. Good-bye junior uniform and hello NCEA. Be ready to get straight back into learning and of course, assessments.
The theme for Year 11 this year is
"Building Responsible Students"
There are two parts;
- Ensure students are responsible and organised. Students are then more academically successful.
- Ensure students are socially + emotionally responsible. They are then more resilient.
Listen carefully in class, there is vital information provided at the start of the year. You need to file this information away carefully so you can find it when you need it. You MUST bring your ako workbook to every class. Enter dates of any assessments or activities. Note sometimes you have more than one assessment in a week (or even a day). This is normal and you need to plan ahead and be ready.
Best of luck and you should all know to ask if you are ever unsure.
