      OR

There are 8 courses designed to help you become more familiar with (and ultimately a more effective user of) Onstream.

They can be found be going to the Academic tab on the front page of Onstream and searching in courses for : Onstream Learning1 (note no space between the 'g' and the '1') or Onstream Learning2 or Onstream Learning3 or Onstream Learning4.
The passwords to enrol in each course have been sent to staff via email. If you would like them again at any stage, ask Liz (mwl).
Onstream Learning1 is the introductory course, you may not need (or want) to complete it. You can enrol, have a look and only complete parts of it if you so choose. For those of you who wish to complete the 8 weeks of courses, they are being released at staggered intervals across Terms 3 and 4, 2015.
Onstream Learning2 focuses on more setting up of courses, while Onstream Learning3 is the first course to look at activities available. Onstream Learning4 covers further activities.
As this is the first time we have offered these online courses, your feedback is much appreciated. You can do this through the forums in the courses, or via email to me directly.
There is monitoring of the forums, so that questions will be answered, however there is no monitoring of course completion. These courses are available for staff as a part of individualised PLD in preparation for BYOD at Y9 in 2016 and beyond. Your individual needs may include some upskilling in Onstream... or not.

        • school pastoral systems, focusing on the Key Competencies from the New Zealand curriculum and how to better prepare students for life beyond school
        • Tataiako, how the school engages with Maori learners and their whanau

We have a series of late starts this year, where staff are able to select sessions of relevance to them and their professional learning needs.
