CGHS Sexual Harm committee meeting will be held at B2 on Friday this week in room 412. In this meeting, we will be discussing how to make CGHS a safer place for all students and how we prevent sexual harm from occurring to CGHS students. Do you have a passion for writing and would like to get your short story published? Submissions are being taken for an anthology of student writing to be published later in the year. Entries are open to all year levels and submissions can be made via the Google form sent to your email or by sending your short story through to firstname.lastname@example.org in PDF format. Pieces should be no longer than 1500 words and entries are due by Sunday 25th of July (the last week of the school holidays). Email 17bowmap with any queries. Happy writing!
Dance competition in French or German - now next week
21st June is the longest day of the year in Europe and celebrated in France and Germany with a music festival. - La fête de la musique! There are free open air concerts and musicians play live music in the streets, parks and public spaces. To celebrate we are running a "Just Dance" competition - French songs in 219 and German songs in 218 - on Wednesday 30th June Break 2. Please note the new date (postponed due to Lip-sync practices this week!). Prizes for the best moves. All welcome! PIM
Celebrate Matariki with us. There are stars placed around the school, with the meanings and significance they hold to Matariki. If you find one of these grab it and bring it to the Māori class at Break 2 to win yourself a sweet treat. At the end of the week on Friday, there will be food trucks on site so bring some money along and get some kai!

Plunket Babysitting Course – Thursday 15th OR Friday 16th July 2021
Whether you’re already babysitting the neighbours kids or your younger siblings or want some credibility when looking for a babysitting job - this day is for you!
